Hair Restoration using Platelet Rich Plasma

A recent 2014 study in the Journal of Cutaneous and Aesthetic Surgery found a significant reduction in hair loss between the first and fourth PRP procedures. Additionally, an increase in hair follicular units of 22.09 units per cm squared was observed. PRP was found to be a simple, safe, and cost effective option for alopecia and overall client satisfaction in both men and women (Khatu, S., et al., 2014).
